Formul8 Cosmetics ("Formul8," "we," or "us") provides contract manufacturing and 3PL services for beauty brands. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our websites, contact us, or use our services (collectively, the "Services").

2. Information we collect

  • Contact information: name, email address, phone number, company name, job title.
  • Business information: brand details, products, order data, inventory and shipping information shared when you use our manufacturing or logistics services.
  • Account information: login credentials and settings for any online portals we provide.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, and similar analytics data.
  • Third-party platform data: if you connect ecommerce, marketplace, or social accounts, we may receive order, listing, or performance data from those platforms in accordance with their terms and your permissions.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain our manufacturing and 3PL services.
  • To manage orders, inventory, shipping, and returns.
  • To provide customer support and communicate with you.
  • To analyze performance and improve our Services.
  • To send administrative messages, such as service updates or changes to our terms and policies.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

4. Use of data from connected platforms

If you connect external platforms (for example, ecommerce marketplaces or social media accounts), we access only the data authorized by you and the relevant platform. We use this data to power order management, analytics, and automation features within our Services. Your use of any third-party platform remains subject to that platform's own terms and privacy policy.

If you connect a Pinterest account, Formul8 Command Center uses the Pinterest API to access the Pinterest data you authorize, which may include your Pinterest business account, boards, Pins, catalogs, advertising metrics, and related publishing or reporting data. We use Pinterest API data only to provide account connection, board syncing, Pin drafting, approved Pin publishing or scheduling, reporting, and operational dashboard features for authorized users.

Formul8 Command Center is not endorsed by, certified by, affiliated with, or sponsored by Pinterest. We do not sell, resell, redistribute, or otherwise provide Pinterest content or Pinterest-derived data to third parties except as needed to operate the Services at your direction or as required by law.

5. How we share information

We may share information as follows:

  • With vendors and service providers who help us operate our business (for example, hosting, analytics, shipping partners), under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
  • With logistics and carrier partners as necessary to fulfill shipments and returns.
  • If required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
  • In connection with a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.

6. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we process. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect data against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

7. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and applicable laws.

8. Your choices

  • You can contact us to update your account details or correct inaccurate information.
  • You can unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the opt-out links in those emails. We may still send service-related messages.
  • You can disconnect connected platform accounts, including Pinterest accounts, through the applicable account connection settings or by contacting us. When a Pinterest account is disconnected, we stop using the Pinterest API for that account and delete or de-identify Pinterest-derived data within a reasonable period unless we need to retain limited records for security, legal, audit, or operational integrity purposes.
  • Depending on your location, you may have additional rights regarding access, deletion, or portability of your personal data.

9. International transfers

We may process and store information in countries different from where it was collected. When we transfer personal data across borders, we take steps to help ensure an appropriate level of protection in accordance with applicable law.

10. Children's privacy

Our Services are not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age required by applicable law. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Services after any changes become effective means you accept the revised policy.
